Nano Virtual Production Volume
Independent project
Virtual production design, Unreal Engine development, Prototype integration
UE5, Miniature displays, Mobile camera

A desktop scale virtual production volume built from two displays, a miniature car and a mobile camera to study perspective, tracking and scene continuity.
Context
Full virtual production stages are difficult to access during early development. I wanted a physical test environment that could make camera, screen and perspective problems visible immediately.
Build
I built a two display corner around a miniature car, matched the stage geometry and virtual camera in Unreal Engine, and tested the combined image through a mobile camera at close range.
Outcome
The compact rig makes it possible to study framing, parallax, display alignment and realtime scene changes quickly before committing ideas to a full size stage.
